Yeongcheon Part 1

Overview

This week's destination is Yeongcheon, a city of garlic and Korean pork. The garlic farmers here are having a hard time due to the price drop caused by overproduction. Also, the pig stock farmers have been suffering since the African swine fever had devastated the region. Baek Jong Won, once again, focuses on making dishes using unfavored pork parts, hind legs, with garlic sauce to boost both pork and garlic consumption.
