Overview

Everyone believes Rüstem is dead until he suddenly returns, marries Mihrimah, and is elevated to the divan—while Mihrimah still longs for Malkoçoğlu. The joint wedding and princely celebrations heighten tensions with Lütfi Paşa, who pushes to send Mehmet to his province as Rüstem keeps turning Süleyman against Mustafa. Hürrem counters with a risky demand to secure her son’s future, but as Şah Sultan watches Rüstem’s every move, an unexpected betrayer strikes him from the shadows.
