Meanwhile, Eun-oh, an interior designer and Ji-hyuk's former college classmate, has been secretly harboring feelings for him for years. Eventually, Ji-hyuk musters the courage to tell his parents the truth and announces he's moving out.

Despite his parents' objections, Ji-hyuk signs a lease and prepares to move out. When Eun-oh hears from Seong-jae that Ji-hyuk has broken up with his girlfriend, she becomes both excited and nervous about how to confess her feelings. Meanwhile, Sang-cheol receives unexpected news that the advisor position he was offered has been canceled.

Trying To Keep It Together

After Ji Hyuk rejects her, Eun Oh is emotionally shaken but does her best to stay composed. At the same time, Ji Hyuk feels lost and betrayed when his mentee, a known troublemaker on the team, is suddenly promoted thanks to connections in the company. Overwhelmed by frustration, Ji Hyuk submits his resignation in the heat of the moment.

The family is stunned by Ji Hyuk's sudden announcement that he's getting married, but despite their shock, they agree to meet his bride-to-be and her family. Seong Jae is equally blindsided when he receives Ji Hyuk's wedding invitation. Meanwhile, Seong Hui offers Eun Oh a large sum of money for a high-stakes interior design project.

When Everything Falls Apart

After a heated argument with his father, Sang Cheol, Ji Hyuk packs his things and leaves. To Ok Rye, who is extremely worried about Ji Hyuk, Sang Cheol says she should forget about him and consider Ji Wan her eldest grandson from now on. Meanwhile, Seong Jae tries to comfort Eun Oh, who is deeply disappointed in Ji Hyuk.

The family's anxiety grows when Ji Hyuk's phone number is disconnected. Heartbroken, Eun Oh throws away anything that reminds her of Ji Hyuk. Meanwhile, Sang Cheol's struggle to find work further damages his fragile self-esteem. Far from home, Ji Hyuk begins rediscovering a version of himself he'd long forgotten while fleeing his reality.

Eun Oh is shocked to see Ji Hyuk return, acting like a completely different person. Out of the blue, he announces he's starting his own business and sets up an office in the cafe's storage room. As he settles in, he and Eun Oh constantly bicker over even the smallest things, testing her patience each day.
