Toadie reveals to Terese and Brad that while he’s taking on Paul’s case, his client will be pleading guilty. Brad uses this as an excuse when Lauren confronts him over the bribery of Cecilia – there won’t be a trial now, so the false testimony will never be heard in the court. Lauren is far from happy, still viewing it as a dangerous risk to take.
