Living next-door to each other, catching the bus together, studying in the same room, Som-O and Chadjen were close from childhood. One day, Chadjen's father passes away and his mother goes on to remarry, relocating to France. Because Chadjen doesn't want to move with her, he ends up living with Sam-O's family. On entering high school, the two get to know new friends including New and Khao. The kind pair are always helping and advising Sam-O with her love life. One day a new kid—a swimmer—named Tao comes into the picture. Whether their studies or extracurriculars, the group get through thick and thin together, forming a bonded group. Years on, everyone has dispersed through different faculties of the same university.

Chadjen's mother has returned from France. However, Chadjen is not happy about this. She has come back to help Chadjen with the transfer procedures to allow him to study in France but he does not want to leave.
